We installed a balcony in Adachi Ward, Tokyo. The home was three stories and had a balcony on the third floor, but it was a pain to go up to the third floor every time to hang out the laundry, so the client requested that a balcony be installed on the second floor. First, we replaced the waist-high window with a door to allow access to the balcony, and then installed the balcony. We also installed a terrace to create a space to hang out the laundry.
