We remodeled a workshop that was no longer in use into a Western-style room. The floor was a dirt floor, so we built a floor base and created a Western-style room. First, we cleared out the belongings. It was heartbreaking to dispose of the husband's work tools, but we managed to get rid of all the belongings in the room. Next, we removed the interior walls and ceiling to prepare for the insulation. Next, we set beams on the existing dirt floor, leveled it with a laser, placed joists on the beams, fixed them, poured the joists, laid the flooring, and constructed the floor. We put insulation in the walls and ceiling, laid boards, and constructed the walls and ceiling. For the windows, we put in double-glazed sashes. This has made the insulation much better than before. We installed baseboards where the floor and wall meet, installed moldings where the ceiling and wall meet, installed window frames, and pasted wallpaper. When the baseboards and moldings are installed, the wallpaper will be cut off, so the finish will be neat.
